RE-ELECT REP DAVID ALCOS
RE-ELECT REP DAVID ALCOS
"As someone who was born and raised in Ewa Beach. I'm running for re-election to the State House Representative because I believe our community deserved someone who understands our concerns. I know the challenges we face, from the high cost of living and finding affordable housing to reducing crime and making government more transparent. I humbly ask for your continued support. "
Aloha all, My name is David Alcos III and I am House Representative for District 41. It is a great opportunity to withhold this seat with an exceptionally qualified team that will help me improve our community for our Keiki and future generations.
As a deeply rooted community member, I have made many impacts in Ewa Beach and want to continue making impacts through my three key platform issues: Community Access, Safety and Education
I am a drywall contractor that has been self-employed since the age of 28. My family name is well known in the district going back at least 6 generations. I also attended Ewa Elementary, Ilima Intermediate and graduated from James Campbell High School in 1987. I am married to a homegrown Ewa Beach girl - Ralena “Lena” Byrd, with two children, and am a “proud Papa'' of three grandchildren. My everyday life is filled with “family first” morals and exemplifies the practice of a devout son.
Furthermore, I continue to support my community by serving as assistant coach for the Ewa Beach Cardinals Football League, co-founded the Hammerhead Football League and became a mentor by coaching for the James Campbell High School football team. The fruits of my contributions reflect in a variety of players that realized their dreams of playing for colleges and most notably, a recently drafted NFL player from Ewa Beach.
Additionally, with the amount of contributions that I have made, I've helped manage multiple community events. I have used my influence and talents by being active in the James Campbell High Alumni Association, Ewa Beach Neighborhood Board-Parks Committee, donated resources and used skills as a drywall contractor to help renovate part of New Hope Leeward Church, renovated the James Campbell High School concession stand, Ewa Beach Boys & Girls Club Renovation that is in-progress, a member of the Ewa Beach Lions Club alongside my wife.
